Good morning all,
I have an issue with some of our Excel 2000 files that are shared on
our network. We currently have these files shared so multiple users
can access and make changes to the files at the same time. Every once
in a while the file will not open up for a user. When they try to
open it Excel crashes with it's generic error. The only way to
correct the issue is to get into the file from another user's PC and
unshare the file. Then the user with the original issue can get into
it then reshare and all is well for the time being.
PC info: Windows XP (fully patched) with Office 2000. All PCs are
identical coming from the same image.
Has anyone also came across this issue and have any success on a
permanent solution? Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.
