Excel 2000 SP3

I have Win XP Sp2. I installed Excel 2000 and SR1. Now I want to
install Office SP2 and Office SP3. I have them both on CD which I got
from Microsoft. They won't install. They say "insufficient
permission" to modify Excel.exe & *.dll files.

How can I get Office SP2 and Office SP3 to install, please?

Would you mind posting the exact error message, including one of the
filenames with its path, that you are receiving?
