Excel 2000 to Windows XP

I recently got a new PC with Windows XP. My old PC had
Excel 2000, and now I can open a file that I saved to
disk on the new PC. Do I have to save my old PC to
keep/access my old files? I can't find a way to Import
the old Excel spreadsheet into the Microsoft Works
Spreadsheet program on my new PC. Please help.

Hi Amanda:

You will probably need to save your old file as a CSV file rather than an
Excel file. You should then be able to open it in Works on your new PC.
