EXCEL 2000 won't open ms09.dll

Hi,
I have a WINDOWS ME computer with OFFICE 2000 running.
Starting this morning when I try to open EXCEL I get ERROR:
EXCEL has caused and error in MS09.DLL. When I search the
C drive I don't see this file.
Earlier in the day when WORD came up it asked me if I
wanted to register. (OFFICE has probably been registered 2
1/2 years on this box.
Any idea?
