Excel 2000...won't save printer settings

Brent White

I have a spreadsheet that I need to print to a network
printer that is not my default.

I go to File->Print and select the network printer. I hit
Close and then save the file, but when I bring the file
back up and hit File->Print again, the default printer
still shows up in the Printer box.

Hi Brent,
something like:
Control Panel, Printers, select your printer,
Printer (menu), Set as default printer

Wait...our users have several different printers that they
go to for certain documents. Access saves the printer
settings with each report, why does Excel 2000 not allow
this?

Acces has this feature, Excel does not.
Create a little macro button to print to specific printer.
