I have come across this situation twice in two computers:
At first, when I try to start excel, a dialog box appears telling me that
excel failed to start on a previous session, and asking me if I want to start
excel in safe mode. When I click yes, nothing happens. And when I try to
start excel again, another dialog box appears, asking me if I want to repair
excel. Repairing also doesn't solve the startup problem. When I try to start
excel after a repair, the same thing happens again. And clicking no in both
dialog boxes also results nothing.... I mean, it is just like closing a
window. I am using Office 2002 in a windows xp machine.
Is there anyone with the same problem?
Checked the xlstart and startup folders too.... there was nothing. So, it
couldn't be because of an addin or a template. Right?
