Excel 2002 invalid page fault

I am getting an "Excel caused invalid page fault in module
kernel32.dll at 018:bff714ac" with recent upgrade to Excel
2002.

I am running Windows 98SE. The kernell32.dll is version
4.10.2222. I am attempting to discern if this is the
latest version for Windows 98SE and if not then how get I
update to the latest.
