Excel 2002 need to schedule appointments for consult/clients

trying to find a template that could be used or altered for me to setup a
automated data entry program to work scheduling of appointments with
consultants'/clients' and to automatically send an email to consultants via
novell groupwise mail at work. I also need to iclude client demographics for
the consultants to view, but really trying to figure if the employers'
software (MSOffice pro 2002) can have access to any templates that might work
with this version. I need to have query functions to setup multiple
schedulings of consultants/clients. Can this be done with access 2002 or even
excel 2002? Your Help is greatly appreciated...
