Getting error msg: Your file could not be printed due to
an error on" [followed by network printer name]"there are
several possible reasons:", then it lists low virtual
memory setting, bad printer connections, etc. However,
it only happens when we are trying to print spreadsheets
created under Excel 97; and if the cells from those
spreadsheets are copied to a new Excel 2002 worksheet, it
prints fine, can be saved in the old file's place & will
continue to print OK after that. Is there a known
printing/conversion issue between the two versions of
Excel that might cause this? The error only appears when
we try to print or use Print Preview.
