Excel 2002 : question on hyperlinks

D

Daniel

Hi everybody,

I have created a simple table and associated a "doughnut" type graphic.

I also created a number of hyperlinks.

My question is : how can I make these hyperlinks active in the graphic ? In
other words, I would like to be able to click in a given zone of the graphic
instead of clicking in the corresponding cell in the table in order to
"hyperlink".

Thanks in advance for your kind help.
With best regards,
Daniel

This is not exactly what you asked for but it does enable you to specify
a target link with a chart to a Sheet.

1. Start with the chart inside a Sheet
2. Use the camera icon to take a picture of a cell or range. Tools,
Customize. Category: Tools; Commands: Camera icon

3. Click where ever to place the image
4. Link the image to where it needs to go.
5. right-click & choose Copy
6. Select the frame of the chart object.
7. Right-click and choose paste
8. Again, select frame of chart object, right-click and choose
"Location"
9. Put the Chart on its own Chart-type (tab).
10. The link should work
