Feel like an idiot asking this but I have tried
everything I can think of.
I like to see my dates as 14-Mar-03, I format the cell to
English (Australian) and select the style 14-Mar-01.
With all other Excel programmes I have worked with
previously I can then type in 14/07/03 (in other words
dd/mm/yy) and it appears in the cell as 14-Mar-03.
No matter what Enlish(area) format I select I can only
get 14-Mar-03 by typing in 07/17/03 (in other words
mm/dd/yy).
Has anyone else come across this and did you fix it, how?
