Excel 2002(XP) Startup

why does this version of Excel install excel feature every
time I start Excel--on install choose to run nearly every
feature from my computer. Really annoying everytime I open
an Excel file I have to wait for a dialogue box to install
an unspecified feature.
The Dialogue Box is Titled:
Installing components for Microsoft Excel
the detail is:
Installing Excel Feature

Windows 2000 Pro; Office XP Pro; 1.2Ghz Athlon; 512Mb;
30+Gb Free

Because you did not install everything to your HD. Best advice I have -
uninstall Excel and then Reinstall - select custom and select everything!
