Excel 2003/2007 Compatibility

Excel 2003/2007 - I have hundreds of Excel files created in Excel 2003.
There are small graphic files that were pasted, not file/insert into the
spreadsheets. When an Excel 2007 person edits it and saved it, the next
time an Excel 2003 sp3 user opens the file and tries to print it, that
graphic file is much much larger.

If I Insert a graphics file using Excel 2003, there is no compatibility
problem

Does anyone know of a fix or hotfix.?
