Excel 2003 Analysis ToolPak Add-In

MROUND fails to work without the Analysis ToolPak add-in.
This is the general error message I am getting (NAME?).
Product comes from the MS Office Profl Ed 2003 supplied
by Microsoft. How do I install or locate this add-in? The
program tells me it is not available when I go to Tools,
Add-Ins.

Im pretty sure It's wanting to install the add-in from your Office
installation cd.

Hi Joe!

Use:

Tools > Addins
Check "Analysis ToolPak"
OK

You'll find that you will now be asked for the Installation CD.

You only need the CD the first time. Thereafter Analysis ToolPak will
load each time you open Excel until you remove the check against it.
If you replace the check the CD won't be needed a second time.

If you need robust applications that work on other computers, you
should try to get away without Analysis ToolPak.

MROUND rounds a number to a required multiple.



The alternative formula is:



=ROUND(Number/Multiple,0)*Multiple
