Daniel P.

Does Excel 2003 support .NET instead of VBA?

Also do Excel 2003 and Office XP run side by side on the same machine?

Thanks!

Hi Daniel,
Does Excel 2003 support .NET instead of VBA?

Excel 2003 still uses VBA in exactly the same way that Excel XP does.
However, the Professional version has also been extended to enable a
workbook to be associated with a .Net assembly and start that assembly
when the workbook is opened. For more information, see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/office/default.aspx
Also do Excel 2003 and Office XP run side by side on the same machine?

Yes, if installed to separate directories.
