Excel 2003 - Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006).

I use Excel 2003 all of the time and it suddenly stopped working. I'
getting the error message "The application failed to initializ
properly (0xc0000006). Click on OK to terminate the application."

The only thing I could think of would be if a recent Windows securit
update might have messed something up, but I've gone and deleted all o
the most recent updates and it still doesn't work.

Please help
