When working with multiple sheet workbooks and linked workbooks the time
taken to calculate and update links can be quite long.
I assume the time can be minimised by the way in which formulas are entered.
I assume that when transfering data from one worksheet/workbook to another
using direct cell references it is best to do this even with calculated cells
rather that to redo the calculation in the new worksheet/workbook.
I further assume that when transfering data using complex "LOOKUP" and "IF"
functions it is better to transfer the basic data and redo the calculations
on that data in the new worksheet/workbook therefore reducing the number of
links.
Can anyone please advise if my assumptions are correct or give any advice on
simplifying working with multiple worksheets/workbooks.
Thank You.
