Excel 2003 cell formatting

I have the following data in one cell and I want it to start a new line in
the same cell.
72411 Diet Clerk 2150-3, 72411 Dietitians Assistant 1706-2, 72411 Clinical
Dietitian 8300-5, 72411 Clinical Dietitian (Non-Exempt) 8305-1, 72411 Supr
Dietitian Services 8470-1
I would like it to look like
73411 Diet Clert 2150-3
72411 Dietitians Assistant 1706-2
72411 Clinical Dietitian 8300-5
and so forth.
Please help me... thanks so much

You need to replace the comma/space with a hard return

Edit > Replace
in the replace what field, enter comma space
in the replace with field, just enter CNTRL-j

and do a replace all.

You should see:

"72411 Diet Clerk 2150-3
72411 Dietitians Assistant 1706-2
72411 Clinical Dietitian 8300-5
72411 Clinical Dietitian (Non-Exempt) 8305-1
72411 Supr Dietitian Services 8470-1"

Thanks Gary, but I want to keep all this data in one cell. When I hit enter
it takes me down the the next cell. Any suggestions?

The suggested solution will leave all the data in one cell.

The edit>replace removes the commas and replaces with an in-cell line feed.

Re-read and try again.

When I am entering the data, how do I get it to format without the , ? Or
do I need to do it this way all the time?

How do you enter the data?

If manually, don't bother typing the comma<space> just hot Alt + Enter when you
want a line feed.

i.e. manually

This is line one Alt + Enter for linefeed
This is line two Alt + Enter for linefeed
This is line three Enter to leave the cell

If coming in from an external source there may be a way to control that, but
need more detail on source.
