Excel 2003 Crashes

Sid Bordelon

I just got Office 2003 on a new Dell computer. I have
been using Excel heavily for about 5 years. I just
transferred two workbooks from my Win 98 computer, and I'm
having an alarming number of crashes during execution,
which involves heavy use of macros. The 2 workbooks are
linked and that seemed to be the problem, but the
diagnostics say that I have conditional format errors.
Those conditional formats work fine under Excel 2000.
Now I have been running these workbooks for about 6
months and I think of them as being debugged to my
satisfaction (on Win 98, Excel 2000). The ssytem claims
to have repaired the problem, but after a crash occurs,
then it seems everything I do for data entry causes a
crash. I use Sheet "change event" processing and a lot of
macros to do most of the processing. All of the macros
are working just fine on my old computer. I have no idea
what to do. I MUST get these applications into
production, but at the moment it seems like that's not
going to happen. Anyone have similar problems?
