Excel 2003 default file location

Minor irritant - but my default file location is set as My Documents in
Options, but when I load Excel and click open button I get Sys32p as the
current folder - any way I can fix this? Thanks

Thanks for speedy response. Yes as in original post that looks right -
currently C:\Documents and Settings\Geoff\My Documents (I am user Geoff) so
doesn't seem to be working
