Excel 2003 : errors on save

I have a user who gets errors on certain excel files when he tries to save
as. This happens with only certain pcs and not on all of them which rules
out a bad file. Any clues out therehow I can solve this?

Sadly I'm in the same boat. I have a very important spreadsheet that keeps
crashing if I use the 'save as' function.

Yet bizarrely I can still use the original.

I would like to find out what the problem is
