Excel 2003 on Vista screen issues

N

nelsonsoft

When I load a spreadsheet not all the data will show and some grid lines are
missing. I can block the area and the data and the grid lines will show.
When I page down the blank area will move up or down a few rows but is always
at the bottom half of the screen.

I have service pack 3 on the Office 2003. Running on Vista.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I tried but it did not help. I'll see the top half with the grid lines and
the data and the bottom area will have no data or grid lines.

Thanks,
Gil

I could not find a solution to this problem. Thus I've installed StarOffice
and linked MS Docs to StarOffice. At least StarOffice works with the Excel
spreadsheets. At least until I find a solution to this problem.

I tried a quick new test and it seems to show the lines and the data. It
appears to be with any spreadsheet that I open from when I was running on XP.
I just got a new computer with Vista and moved my data over.

But if I try to open a CSV file it does the same thing. Bottom 1/3 will not
show data or grids and it is not consistant with each page down it will move
a little up or down.

Odd indeed. What happens if you hit control+alt+F9 (forces a full
recaclulation)?
