Excel 2003 Problem

I have installed Office 2003 on our Windows 2003 server machine:

1. When launching Excel 2003 in get a message: "Compile Error in hidden
module: AutoExecNew"
2. When I select "OK" excel finishes launching.
3. When closing out of the excel document I then get the message: "Compile
Error in hidden module: DistMan"
4. Select OK and then it finishes closing out.

Any idea what is happening here & what the fix would be?

Hi Thomas,

A compile error means there is an error in a macro created by a third
party - it isn't an error in the Excel program. More than likely you
have an add-in for PDFMaker in your XLStart folder. Locate the folder
and move any files found out of the folder and the error should be
resolved.
