Excel 2003 restarts regular in Vista OS

I bought a new laptop with Vista Business, install OK.
Installed Office 2003 professional but when I am working in Excel after
10-15 minutes Excel shuts down and restarts. When I am working for about 4
hours in Excel it restarts about 7 or 8 times.

Anyone an idea?
