This does not happen all the time. When an excel file is opened the Macros
sometiems do not run and the word CALCULATE is visible in the status bar.
When the same file is opened on a different machine this does not happen.
Also, on the machine that we see this happen on (terminal server) a user can
open an excel file and macros run with no problem; they can open the file
again either right away or a few hours later and the macros do not run and
the CALCULATE word shows on the status bar.
I have seen the other postings in other groups about this and none of the
solutions/reasons apply to this situation.
Has anyone else seen this happen, if so what was the fix?
At this point I am thinking about reinstalling Excel on the terminal server.
Thanks
