Excel 2003: why won't my toolbar change stick?

I've tried repeatedly to remove the Euro Conversion button/command off my
toolbar (using Customization/Rearrange/Delete), but every time I open a
spreadsheet, it's back.

What can I do to make the change stick?

I think that's loaded with an add-in so is created each time. Try
Tools>Add-ins... and uncheck Euro Conversion Tool (Restart Excel)
