excel 2003 working with .net

I am planning to write a .net 2005 or 2008 application that will execute an
existing cystal report. I report will be displayed in a 'report viewer'.
However I want to take the crystal report and convert it into an excel 2003
document and/or a PDF file. I was wondering if you could tell me how to
accomplish this task.
