Excel 2004 unexpectedly quits

I am having a hard time finding information regarding the 2004
version.

I never had any problems with Excel X before. Now upgraded to 2004 and
it randmonly quits - when I am opening a file, saving a file, working
on it, etc. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
