Excel 2004 worksheet only copies top half into PPT 2004

If you open Excel 2004 worksheet and copy it, then open PPT 20004 and
paste it, only the top left corner appears.

If you do same in Office X, it works as it should, and whole image is
there when you paste.

I have tried this on three separate machines, with same result.

Any ideas? Is this a bug, and if so, is there a fix?

I've tried this repeatedly and can't reproduce it. Is it only one
workbook or does every workbook do this?

Previous posts have mentioned cutting off columns. This may have been
fixed by SP1 (I can't tell from the posts) - have you updated your
Office 2004?
