I am having a problem with excel hanging up will sorting colums in a
spreadsheet. The sheet is about 12000 lines long. When ever I sort a
column it crunches for 30 minutes before it completes. In my pc world
it takes all of 5 seconds Please help

Can you describe your data a bit more? For me, sorting a column of 12000
random numbers takes less than a second.
