Excel 2007 and HP Printer C7200 Series Compatibility

I was having an issue with Excel opening files slowly. After reading
many helpful posts and this forun and trying them all without success,
I narrowed the problem down to my HP C7200 Series printer driver.
When it is installed, Excel takes 30 - 60 seconds to open. When I
uninstall it, it opens immediately. I was having this problem on my
desktop and laptop and this solved the issue on both. Of course now I
can't print! Has anyone hit this or have any ideas on what to try
next? Thanks in advance.

Try changing the Default printer to something else, like Microsoft
Document Image Writer.
