Excel 2007 closes on save

Excel closes with the following error: ...has encountered a problem and needs
to close.

....Send Error Report

We're using XP sp1, with Approve It software (add-in) in the event log the
Event is 1000 or 1001.

Also, Excel opens in Full Screen mode and have not found how to disable this
start-up function.

The information I can gather from this situation is so vague - it is hard to
find a solution in the Knowledge Base. Is there some way of pinning this
thing down?

Hi,

Well if you are runnig Windows XP SP1 you need to update, I believe Windows
XP is on SP3, so you are way behind.

If you are talking about Excel 2003 with SP1 you also need to update, Excel
2003 is running SP3 now.

If you are running Excel 2002 (XP) you also need to update to SP3.
