Excel 2007 column numbering

S

stuart macleod

I have a small problem, i have a spreadsheet which has been done in excel
2007 and the columns when i open the document are numbers not letters which
is very odd in itself. butthe odd thing is if i minimise this to the taskbar
and open an old spreadsheet i have used previously and then minimise this to
the taskbar and then maximise the original spreadsheet the columns are back
to letters.
any help with this would be a great help

Hi Stuart,

You may want to use the link below to also post this in the MS Excel discussion group, but check to see if the option for R1C1
reference style is turned on in Excel options when you first open that worksheet,

Office Button=>Excel Options=>Formulas=>Working with Formulas
