Easy to replicate and I can provide any number of samples.
1. First type.
Take any .xls file successfully created by VB.NET in Office 2000 format.
Open in Excel 2007, save as any format other than 2000-2003 compatibility and
Excel2007 crashes with report back to HQ.
2. Second type.
Amend code in VB.NET to use Excel 2007. Save as xlformatnormal Ok. Any other
format chosen and Excel 2007 crashes.
Glad none of my users use Office 2007 yet as this is a disaster. Any
workrounds available or do I remove Office 2007 and throw it away as useless?
