Excel 2007 Does Not Save

I am using Excel 2007 in Windows Vista Home Premium. When I save, this window
pops up: MS Excel is trying to recover your information. This may take
several minutes.

I have tried at least 6 times to save with the same results. Each time when
Excel re-opens I have to enter the same information and try saving again.
Each time with the same results.

Why is this happening and how can I correct it?

Look at your anti-virus program. I have heard reports that CA\Etrust
antiviral program causes save problems
