Excel 2007 fails

keep getting message, "Windows Office has stopped working" then Message that
Excel spreadsheet that I am working on is invalid format, then msg that
spreadsheet has been repaired. Problem is intermitant. this morning every
time I try to save worksheet, the above senerio happens, about 10 times so
far. please help
