Excel 2007 File is trying to open in Adobe

I am new to Groove so please bear with me...

I have a women in the office using a workspace with an Excel 2007 file and
an Excel 2003 file in it. She can open the 2003 file with no issue. When
she tries to open the 2007 file, it attempts to open it in Adobe instead of
Excel. She is using Office Ultimate 2007 and has been added as a manager to
the workspace. I have uninstalled an reinstalled Groove and it didn't help.

Any ideas?

Hi,

This is not a problem with Groove, but with your operating system. Check to
see what associations are for .xlsx files and make sure that Excel 2007 is
the only application that can open the files. If you need help on how to
check the associations, let me know what operating system you are using and I
will provide directions.
