Hi there,
My Excel 2007 for Vista is having massive issues surrounding ANY formula
which is input in certain documents. The documents are being stored in a
network hard drive which is accessible by the entire office (about 8
computers), though the files in question are really only used by one person
most of the time.
The problem I'm having is that any formula which is input and filled down to
other cells will only give the formula answer to the first cell in which it
was initially input. For example, if i have a cell B1 with the simple
formula = A1*40 , it will correctly give the value corresponding to this
cell, but if this formula is autofilled to B2,B3, etc, it will only give the
same values for each corresponding cell as it gave for the first. If I save
the document and reenter, the program will have righted itself and now found
the correct values for each cell. Yet, if any new formula is filled, the
problem arises again. Also, if a cell which has the incorrect value in it is
copied and "pasted as a value", it will maintain the wrong answer. This
shows that Excel is actually convinced that the wrong value is the actual
value, and the problem is not some graphical error.
If anyone knows how to fix an issue like this, please let me know.
