Excel 2007 ribbon

I am creating a dropdown menu for a new ribbon in Excel 2007. I a
having a hard time finding a way to set a default value in the dropdow
menu. I want it to be something similar to this. So instead of a blan
box inside the dropdown menu at the start of the program, I want th
dropbox to contain a default value (like Arial is the default value fo
the Font dropdown menu in Excel 2003).

I am developing the ribbon in Custom UI Editor.
