Excel 2007 - Sort Dialog Box keeps getting bigger

Data / Sort opens the Sort dialog box.

Every time I open the Sort dialog, it gets bigger. After about four
invocations, it's fullscreen. I keep resizing it to the minimum so I can see
my work, but Microsoft keeps making it big again. It's just maddening...

Is this a known problem? Is there any workaround?
