A few months ago, I added a calendar control (MS MonthView 6.0 SP4) and a
listbox to a worksheet.
At seemingly random times when re-opening the workbook since then, the
height and width of the controls came up at about 2/3 the size they had been
before saving the workbook and quitting. The new size was not fixable either
by mouse-dragging or by typing new Width/Height values into the Properties
box, so I have had to delete the controls and insert new ones with the same
names as the old ones.
Now, this morning, I have opened the workbook and the two controls have
disappeared completely! Worse still, the Insert Controls button in the
Developer ribbon is permanently grayed out, so I can't put them back!
But, if I load up an old copy of the workbook from last week everything is
fine with that old sheet. If I "Switch Windows" between the two of them, the
Insert Controls grays and ungrays according to what sheet is visible.
I have checked that there are no worksheet protections set.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I suppose I'll just have to try to identify the coding changes since last
week, and re-apply them to a fresh copy of last week's sheet that still works.
