Excel 2007 trendline polynomial formula problems

O

OP

When using a polynomial trendline in excel 2007, the formula displayed
doesn't show the correct number of coefficients on the graph. A fourth or a
fifth order only displays a 3rd order formula.
A sixth order will show a fourth order.

Is this a bug or is there a solution?
