Is there a great difference between Excel 2007 & Excel 2008. I have
Excel 2008 and will be assisting someone in Excel 2007 so would like
to know the differences - is there a web site I can go to compares? Is
there a web site that shows the window etc.

Much thx

There are a number of differences - some major, some trivial. The UI is
radically different because of the 2007 implementation of the Ribbon in
place of conventional or "classic" toolbars & menus still used in 2008.

I think you misunderstood - there is no Mac Excel 2007.

XL07 (Windows) has a completely new user interface - the ribbon - which
is very different than any previous WinXL version.

MacXL08 shares many features with XL07, e.g., larger cell-space, new
functions, integration of Analysis Toolpak Add-in functions (though not
the wizards). But its user interface is only incrementally different
than previous versions.
