Excel 2008 for mac running very slow?!!

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Since upgrading, I have found the 2008 mac version very very slow in all aspects of the application. Is there a known bug with this?

I don't know about a bug, but I have found that 2008 runs slow on the PPC macs. Slower than 2004. I have 2008 on two intel macs as well, it seems to run correctly and quickly. Not too much help:)
