Excel 2008 workbook does not print correctly...

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel The following problem appeared in a post in March of 2008. Does anyone know how to resolve this and if the problem has been fixed?

Line weights in Excel 2008 for Mac are screwed up when printing an Excel workbook file using a Snow-Leopard OS. The same workbook file prints fine from my laptop using OS Tiger 10.411 and Excel 2004, but does not print the same when printing from a Snow-Leopard OS and Excel 2008. The chosen border lines display correctly on the monitor, but are much much thicker when printed, thus the printed version is unusable. FYI, printer drivers are current.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Try adjusting your printer's print quality settings in the Print dialog
box. Also, make sure you don't have draft quality selected in the
quality sections of Excel's Print Preview dialog box.

Already tried all of that and it does not help. The 180 dpi helps, but still is not the way it should print - the line weights are still way too dark. Microsoft says it is an Apple problem and Apple says it is a Microsoft problem. Go figure???
