Excel 97 and Citrix Metaframe Xp

Please help ;-(

I have a remote user who is trying, unsuccessfully, to
open an Excel spreadsheet.

When the user double clicks the file or tries File ->
Open, the spreadsheet is opened momentarily, is displayed
and then just closes again.

I have opened the file on my PC without any problems.
One of his colleagues can also open the file without any
trouble.

Both users connect to our office via a Citrix ICA Client,
which gives them the access to Excel and the spreadsheets
that they use.

I have checked all the permissioning, this is all OK from
what I can see.

The user can open any other Excel spreadsheet without any
problems.

The same thing happened to us. We noticed that it was just on one
server though. It happens when you launch Excel without a file too.
We uninstalled office and reinstalled it all was well. Make sure you
put the latest service packs on it. Good luck!
