Excel 97 and network document

I've a problem with open a file from a network pc :
If I open Excel, I browse the network and I open the file all works
correctly
If I browse the network (with Excel close), double click on the file I can't
open it with this error :

Impossible to open or save document, insufficient memory or not enough space
on disk
