Excel 97 viewer

I have windows 98Se, Excel 97 viewer is no longer available for download.
Newer version won't work. Is there a way to make the newer download version
work for my old computer.

Try this if you don't mind a 64 MB download: It'll certainly work with Excel
97 workbooks.

The old Excel 97 viewer is no longer available from the Microsoft
website, but you can still download it from
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,5257,00.asp
among other places.
