Excel -> Access paste gets corrupted

Whenever I try to copy a range (of any size) of cells from Excel 2007 to an
Access 2007 table I get a message that the data is corrupted.
If I paste to Word, then copy/paste from Word to Access, it pastes fine.
Is this a known bug - is there a fix? My patches are up to date.

Yes, this is a known bug.

I think it will be solved when you install SP2 for Office 2007:

Hi,

Instead of copy and paste try importing the data from Excel.

I am taking bits and pieces from the the Excel worksheet - it's not suitable
for importing, which is why it's being converted into a database where
manipulating the data will be much easier!
