I am unable to export reports from Quickbooks to Excel 2008. This was easily accomplished in Excel 2004. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I use Mac OS X and QuickBooks Pro 2006.

QuickBooks was able to export to EXCEL until I loaded Excel 2008 for Mac.
Any report created in QuickBooks is exported to Excel as an XLS file.
Excel will not open to receive the export data and will not respond-have to do a "force quit." QuickBooks has an "export to Excel" command for all reports.
I can import to Excel from QuickBooks as text, but I get none of the Excel capabilities to work with the data.
I was able to export data from QuickBooks Pro 2007 as .txt and then use Excel's Text Import feature to successfully import the data into Excel 2008.
I look forward to your answer about which version of QuickBooks you are using.
